From Monday 1 July to Wednesday 31 July 2024, it will once again be possible to access funding under the FRI-Tur, the incentive – provided for by the PNRR, promoted by the Ministry of Tourism and managed by Invitalia – which aims to improve hospitality services and enhance accommodation facilities, with a view to digitalisation and environmental sustainability.

It will be possible to insert the application of your project on the specific platform accessible on the Invitalia website .

The possibility of submitting new applications for access to incentives follows the renewal of the agreement between the Ministry of Tourism, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) and the Italian Banking Association (ABI), as well as the changes introduced by the Ministry of Tourism with the Notice of last May 7 .

“We have simplified the procedure for accessing funding because public money must be used to regenerate wealth, jobs, and keep companies in balance,” commented Tourism Minister Daniela Santanchè. “And to access funding, we therefore need more streamlined procedures that, as a ministry, we are implementing.”

The measure, aimed at facilitating access to credit and medium-sized investments (from 500 thousand to 10 million euros) for SMEs in the tourism sector, provides for a reserve of 50% of the resources for green investments and a 40% for the South.

The incentives are aimed at hotels, agritourism, open-air accommodation facilities, businesses in the tourism, recreational, trade fair and conference sectors, beach resorts, spa complexes, tourist ports, theme parks (including water and wildlife parks).

Incentives can be requested for energy requalification and anti-seismic interventions, elimination of architectural barriers, extraordinary maintenance, restoration and conservative redevelopment, building renovation, installation of light artifacts, construction of thermal pools (only for thermal establishments), digitalization, purchase or renewal of furnishings, expenses for professional services.
